Heather Manello is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with over two decades of experience in the behavioral health field. A self-proclaimed “counseling nerd,” Heather brings warmth, compassion and a direct, client-centered approach to her work—meeting each individual exactly where they are with care and intention. With specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Heather blends evidence-based practices with a deep understanding of each client’s unique story. Her expertise includes working with substance use disorders, trauma, relationship and intimacy issues, anxiety, PTSD, codependency, and other co-occurring mental health concerns.
Since 2003, she has served in diverse clinical roles across substance use facilities, women’s programs, the court system, and community mental health settings. Her extensive experience spans both direct clinical care and leadership roles, including Program Director, Clinical Supervisor, and currently, Clinical Director at Reprieve Recovery Center. Her passion for clinical excellence extends to mentoring and supervising new professionals in the field. Driven by a deep commitment to healing and growth, Heather empowers clients and clinicians alike to thrive.
